Download a copy: the page as a folder you keep
The owner can download everything on a page — a book that opens in any browser, every photo and video as uploaded, and the data behind it. Once a day.
From Settings → Your page → Download a copy, the page's owner gets one folder with:
- the page as a book — one file that opens in any browser, with no scripts and no fonts, so it still opens in fifty years;
- every photo and video as it was uploaded, contributors' included, in folders named after the memories;
- the data behind it, and your note to trusted people if there is one;
- memories still waiting for approval, in the data and photo folders but not in the book.
It's the originals, so the download can be large; leave the tab open until it finishes. Once a day per page. On the phone apps the download opens in your browser.
The reminder
Every six months — if memories have been added since your last copy — the bell reminds you a copy is due. Not now quiets it for another six months. See How we look after your pages.
