Deleting your account: the 90 days, and what happens to your pages
Your account is deleted 90 days after you ask; signing back in before then keeps it. Pages pass to your trusted person or are deleted; your memories on other people's pages are removed.
Under Account → Delete my account, you're shown exactly what will happen, then asked to type a word to confirm. Then:
The next 90 days
Nothing changes for anyone. You're signed out everywhere; sign back in at any time to keep the account — the deletion is cancelled. After 90 days, it happens for real.
What happens to your pages
- A page with a trusted person passes to the longest-serving one, with everything you added still in your name. Naming a trusted person is how you consent to that.
- A page with no trusted person is deleted with all its memories, photos and tributes.
- A page that was handed to you stays with you until then like any other.
What happens to your contributions elsewhere
Memories, notes and photos you added to other people's pages are removed — they were yours. Tributes you left stay, without your name. Sealed letters go with you; opened ones stay.
