Beyond My Time

For funeral homes, cemeteries and hospices

The page a family keeps — started at your desk.

Beyond My Time is where a family remembers someone who has died: the memories, the people, the photographs, gathered by the people who were there. Most of what a family walks into your office expecting to see published — the services, the resting place, where to send flowers, where to give — is the start of that page. You start it. They keep it.

1

Start the page

A name, dates, a photo. The page opens private, in your care, with your own links already in place — your notice page, your florist, where to give. Fill in the services and the resting place the way you do today.

2

Invite the family

Invite the person you arranged with as the page’s keeper. They’re its manager the moment they accept, and its owner the moment you hand it over. Their family adds the memories; you never can.

3

Hand it over

After the service, hand the page to the family — or they take it, whenever they like. You keep a card of what you entered. The page keeps a line saying you cared for it.

Your page

Once verified, your organisation has a page of its own — beyondmytime.life/at/your-name — listing the pages your families chose to list there: the service details a friend needs, or the whole page. Link to it from your own website; we keep it out of search engines. A friend who finds a notice can ask to be let onto the page; the family decides.

What stays the family’s

  • Every memory, photo, tribute and letter — you can read the page, never write to it or approve what others add.
  • Who is on the page, who is trusted, whether it is listed with you, and when your care ends.
  • The page itself. Ownership never passes to an organisation; a page a family asked you to care for stays theirs throughout.

We verify every organisation before it can hold a page — a real business at a real address. Registering takes a minute; verification is a short wait. How it works, in detail →
