What we do
- The database and every photo and video are backed up every night to a separate provider, encrypted, with thirty days of history — so a mistake on our side can be undone, not just a crash.
- Photos and videos are stored privately and served through short-lived signed links.
- If Beyond My Time ever had to close, you would have six months' notice and every page's Download a copy would keep working until the end.
What we ask of you
Keep your own copy too. A life's story shouldn't depend on any one company, ours included — see Download a copy. The bell reminds you when a copy is due.
We don't sync to your iCloud or Google Drive for now; a downloaded folder in a place you control is the honest version of that.
