Save as PDF: the Timeline, the Calendar and the Places on paper
Anyone on a page can save its Timeline, Calendar or Places view as a PDF to print or send. Only memories everyone on the page can see.
On the Memories section, switch to Calendar, Timeline or Map and tap Save as PDF. The page's owner also finds all three — and All three together — under Settings → Your page → Download a copy.
What's in it
- A cover with the photo, the name, and when it was made and by whom.
- Timeline — the life by the year: the chapters, and every memory placed in them with its photo, its date and place, and the first lines of the story.
- Calendar — twelve small months for every year that has a dated memory, with the day's memories listed underneath, and On this day: dates that come round in more than one year.
- Places — a map of the towns behind the memories, numbered to match the list under it. The map on paper comes from OpenStreetMap, not Google, because a PDF is something you keep.
What's not
Only memories everyone on the page can see: nothing still waiting for approval, nothing an author has kept to themselves. It's a keepsake of the view, not a copy of the page — for that, see Download a copy, which is the owner's and includes every original photo and video.
Anyone on the page can save a view up to ten times a day. On the phone apps the PDF opens in your browser, from where you can save or share it.
