Family & friends: relationships, and relationships with a timeframe
Each person in their life has a relationship — and a spouse or partner can have since and until years. Marriages and partings show on the timeline from that.
Under Settings → This page → People, managers add the people in their life with a relationship — mother, son, wife, friend, neighbour, pet. Anyone on the page can name someone in a photo, and say who they are to them.
A relationship with a timeframe
A spouse, partner, friend, colleague, neighbour or caregiver can carry since and until years, and a spouse or partner can carry how it ended: divorce, separation, death, drifted apart.
- The timeline derives the moments from it — Married Anne 1972, Nonno and Anne divorced, Anne died — so you never add a marriage as a life event.
- A death is not a parting. A late spouse is still the spouse. Only divorce, separation or drifting apart make someone former; former partners sort after current ones.
- The wedding day. Beside the years, I know the exact day takes the date. It becomes an anniversary the page and the bell mark each year — see Days to remember.
