Together: two pages side by side
A couple is two pages shown beside each other, by mutual consent — never one joint page.
Mom and Dad belong together on the page — whether or not Dad has a page of his own yet. From Settings → This page → Together, a manager turns on Show us together on the spouse or partner in the page's people. One person at a time.
Before the other page exists
The Together section names the two of them, shows the relationship and its years, and gathers the memories on this page in which the person is named — so the couple is visible from day one, and there's a natural place for the second page to be started from later.
When they have a page too
Link it under the person's entry and the same switch also asks that page's managers to show the two pages side by side; they answer from their bell. If one person manages both, it's confirmed at once. Then:
- The section on each page points to the other.
- When you write a memory on one page and belong to both, the composer offers Also add it to Maria's page — a copy of its own there.
- Memories that sit on both pages are marked On both pages.
Either side can end the side-by-side at any time; nothing is deleted, and each page keeps its own Together section as long as its manager wants it.
What it isn't
Not a joint page. Each page keeps its own timeline, people, resting place, privacy and rules. We don't offer group or family pages: every part of a Life Page — the timeline, letters, the words for them — assumes one person, and "us" instead of "her" turns a life into a feed.
Only a spouse or partner already in the page's people can be shown together — and not a former one. Pet pages don't have it.
