"Who will see this": the line above every memory you write
Before you write, the composer names who will see it — the visitors, and the people on the page by name.
At the top of the memory form, and above Add what you remember, there's a line like Who will see this: anyone who has the address, and the 5 people on this page — Paul, Maria, Anna and 2 others. Names open the list.
It is there because consent belongs at the moment of writing — not in a strip of faces at the top of the page, and not as a surprise afterwards when you remember Uncle Jack is on the page too.
What you can do about it
- Switch on Only the people on this page for that memory.
- Look at People on this page (under the page's ⋯) to see who is a member and how they're connected.
What isn't possible
Hiding a memory from one person on the page. A family page can't hold secrets from some of the family — notes, gestures and downloads would give them away anyway — so the answer is either the members-only switch or your own page.
