Signing in as a young person, and what "under Mum's wing" means
"A young person?" on the sign-in page takes a sign-in name and passcode. The dashboard says whose wing you're under, and which things will ask first.
On the sign-in page choose A young person? and enter the sign-in name and passcode your parent set. No email is involved; if you forget the passcode, your parent resets it.
Your dashboard says Under Mum's wing (or Dad's, or whoever opened the profile). It means:
- your parent can see everything you add, and is a trusted person on your page;
- some things — see Asks — go to them first, and you'll see Sent to Mum when they do;
- your page stays private, and you don't approve things or invite people directly yet.
Everything you write is yours and stays in your name. The month you turn 16, this ends by itself. See Turning 16.
