Sharing from other apps into Beyond My Time
On your phone, Beyond My Time is in every app's share sheet. Share a photo, a video or some words, choose the page, and the memory form opens with them already in it.
Someone sends the video of Dad's speech in the family chat. You find a photo in your camera roll, or a post you wrote years ago. Instead of saving it and coming back, share it straight into Beyond My Time.
How it works
On an iPhone, iPad or Android phone, tap Share in any app and choose Beyond My Time. It asks Which page? (a single page needs no asking), then opens the ordinary memory form with the photos and videos already in it and any words as the story. Write the rest — the title, when and where, who's in the photos — and save, or keep it to yourself for now.
- If you're signed out, you sign in first and land in the same place with the same files.
- What arrives from another app stays on your device until you save; nothing is uploaded before then.
- Sharing a link from another app — a post, a story — puts the link in the story, where you can write around it. We don't fetch anything from those services.
What it isn't
There is no "post to Instagram" or "share to Facebook" from a Life Page, and no connection to those accounts — a page has one way out, a link to one memory, and one way in. Many photos at once from your own library go through From my photos.
