Leaving a page
Anyone but the owner can leave a page they belong to. What they added stays in their name; the page's managers hear about it.
From You on this page (under the page's ⋯ menu), choose Leave this page. You'd no longer be able to add to the page, and its managers hear that you left — nobody else is told.
Your memories stay
Nothing you added is removed. A memory is never re-signed: what you wrote stays in your name, and you can still edit, restrict or remove it later — the same rights you had before, which never depended on being on the page. If you'd rather it went with you, remove it by hand before you leave.
Your name stays in the page's People too. On a circle, your entry keeps the years — in the circle 1988–2026 — so the page still says who was there.
Keeping copies
If you have a page of your own, you can keep copies of your memories there first — words, date, place and your own photos, as Keep a copy does anywhere. The copies are yours; the originals stay on the page you're leaving.
Who can't leave
The owner. A page has to belong to someone: an owner hands it over, archives it or deletes it instead. See Owner, trusted person, contributor.
