Gestures: ♥ and five more ways to say "I was here"
Love, laugh, moved, hug, candle, wow — one per person per memory, shown as names and sentences, never counts.
Under a memory, the ♥ is a button. Tap it to say Love this; hold or hover and five more open beside it:

- One gesture per person per memory. Choose another and it replaces the first; tap yours again to take it back.
- Names, never numbers. On a public page visitors simply see Loved by the family.
- Members only. Visitors can leave a tribute instead.
- A manager can turn gestures off for the page under Settings → People → What contributors can do.
There is no picker of hundreds of emoji and no counter: a candle is lit in every tradition, and Dave was moved under a photo from the hardest week says what 12 likes can't.
