The tomatoes are mine now

John planted the first ones the year we moved in. This year I've got forty-two plants and I can't give the tomatoes away fast enough. Priya's kids come over to pick. Dave gets a bag on his porch every Friday whether he wants one or not. The sauce goes in jars, the jars go out the door with whoever's leaving. It's the same rule as it's always been: nobody leaves this house empty-handed.
